Chili in a Bread Bowl

Ingredients
- 1 2 Lbs Ground Beef
- 2 8 Hot Link Sausages
- 3 8 Hot Italian Sausage
- 4 5 McCormick Mild Chili Seasoning Packets
- 5 2 Red Onions
- 6 1 Red Bell Pepper
- 7 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 8 2 Jalapenos
- 9 4 Garlic Cloves
- 10 4 10oz Cans of Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies
- 11 2 Cans Pinto Beans
- 12 2 Cans Red Kidney Beans
- 13 Shredded Cheese
- 14 Bread Loaf (Bread Bowls)
A perfect dish for the cooler weather, this Chili in a Bread Bowl recipe from Pitt Boys BBQ has everything you could want. Spice, smoke, and the perfect meat to bean ratio.
Instructions
- Chop your green pepper, red pepper, and red onion
- Using the Side Burner on our Triple Play, cook ground beef with diced garlic and jalapenos in a large pot
- Once the beef is cooked, add the 4 cans of diced tomatoes and green chilies
- Add the 4 cans of beans and mix to combine
- Add the 5 McCormick seasoning packets
- Now that your sausages are charred, slice them all and add to the pot
- Simmer for 30-45 minutes
- Hollow out your bread loaf with a paring knife to create the bowls
- Serve in the bread bowls and top with shredded cheese and raw red onions (or whatever else you like!)

- Spice it up a little more by adding your favorite hot sauce, we like Tapatio!
