Charcoal Dirty Dogs, Chicago Style

    Hot Dogs, 1 pack

    Buns, 1 pack

    Mustard, to taste
  • 4
    Relish, to taste
  • 5
    Onions, diced, to taste

    Tomatoes, diced, to taste
  • 7
    Sport peppers, whole, to taste
  • 8
    Pickles, whole, to taste
  • 10
    Celery salt, to taste

Use your Akorn Jr. grill and lump charcoal to cook up these tasty dirty dogs. Drag 'em up and down the garden!

Instructions

  1. Fire up the Akorn Jr. grill with lump charcoal to 400°F
  2. Place the hot dogs over direct heat for a few minutes. Roll them around to cook all sides. Remove from grill.
  3. Toast poppy seed buns for a few seconds on each side
  4. Place the Charcoal Dogs in the toasted buns
  5. Top the Charcoal Dogs with
    • Mustard
    • Relish
    • Onions
    • Tomatoes
    • Sport Peppers
    • Pickles
    • Celery Salt
  6. Enjoy!
