Beef and bacon lovers, this recipe is for you. This Beef vs Bacon Flat Iron Smash Burgers from @BeardedBeastBBQ is a delicious way to make homemade burgers from a mix of ground beef and bacon. What's not to love?


  1. Take both the ground beef and bacon and blend together. Run it through the grinder to make sure it is mixed well.
  2. Should make 8, 4-ounce patties. Roll into balls and put them on the griddle top and then take wax paper and steak weight or Char-Griller spatulas and smash the burger balls into patties.
  3. Flip burgers after nice crust has developed.
  4. When burgers reach you desired temperature, add cheese and toast your buns.
