If you're looking for a delicious way to prepare your next chicken, this Smoked Spatchcock Chicken recipe is for you. Through the spatchcock method, your bird will cook faster and you'll be able to add more flavor, making this recipe a win-win! 

Prep Directions

  1. Preheat smoker/grill to 350-375F
  2. Spatchcock the chicken


  1.  Place the chicken on a wire rack (this is optional, but will help with moving the chicken)
  2. Apply rub to bottom of chicken
  3. Flip chicken over and apply rub to skin side of chicken (using a binder such as an oil is optional)
  4. Place on smoker/grill
  5. After 30 mins spray with butter
  6. After 15 additional mins spray with butter
  7. Cook until internal temp of the breast is 165 degrees
  8. Remove from smoker/grill, let rest for 10-15 mins and enjoy!
