We posted a picture of this awesome salmon from Bill’s Barbecue, and everyone kept asking for the recipe! You ask, we deliver. This delicious salmon has a unique Honey Bourbon Lemon Glaze that will make the salmon delicious and flavorful. Cooked on a Cedar Plank, this salmon is a show-stopping dish.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove the pin bones from the salmon filet with fishbone tweezers. Pour water and bourbon into a large baking dish and soak cedar plank for a minimum of 1 hour.

2. Place salmon filet on cedar plank, sprinkle with lemon pepper seasoning, to taste, and cover with sliced lemons.

3. Prepare the grill for offset smoking by adding citrus wood chunks to the Side Fire Box. Place the salmon on the grill and smoke at 250° - 275°F for approximately 45 - 60 minutes.

4. Mix the honey, bourbon and lemon zest together in a bowl to make the glaze. After 30 minutes, intermittently brush the honey/bourbon glaze on the salmon.

 Enjoy the deliciousness!
