If you're looking for a delicious, home-made marinade to compliment your next grill session, this Certified Tacos Al Pastor Marinade is the perfect recipe for you. Char-Griller Ambassador, James Llorens of @certified.creole.bbq, shares this marinade recipe perfect for tacos al pastor. You can also use this marinade on different types and cuts of meat!
InstructionsÂ
First remove all the seeds and stems from the Guajillo Chiles
Then place the guajillo Chiles in a bowl with warm water. Soak the Chiles for 10 minutes. This allows them to rehydrate and soften.
Using the blender, combine all the ingredients and begin to blend.
Blend the mixture thoroughly until the consistency of the marinade is loose. If it’s thick, just add additional juice to your desired consistency.
When finished, place over your favorite pork meat. You can use any. I prefer to use a deboned sliced pork butt.
Allow the meat to soak in the marinade for 4-24 hours and use for Tacos Al Pastor. You can also use this marinade with chicken
