Changed up my Turkey flavor with a delicious beer marinade that was tasty and had the turkey juicy. This is one recipe I’ll be using for years to come when it’s Turkey time.

Trim the turkey with a sharp knife and remove excess skin and fat.

Inject the turkey on all sides with the beer

- 60 ounces Beer

Apply hot sauce to all sides of the turkey

Season all the sides of the turkey with your favorite seasonings.

Stuff the cavity with oranges & limes,

- 4 Limes
- 1 Orange

Cover with aluminum foil and marinate for 12 hours.

Remove the turkey from the prepping tub and place in a roasting rack/pan with water and beer.

Add additional seasoning to the turkey and sprinkle cilantro flakes all over the top and sides.

Add onions and fresh herbs to the cavity

- Fresh poultry herb blend: sage, thyme and rosemary to taste
- 1 White onion

Fire up the Gravity Fed 980 to 350°F and allow it to heat up for 30 mins prior to putting the turkey on.

Place the turkey into the Gravity Fed 980 and insert the probe into thickest part of the turkey breast. Set to cook to internal temperature 165°

Rotate and baste the turkey hourly with melted butter. Mix 2 sticks of melted butter, favorite seasoning, fresh cilantro flakes and baste with a fresh herb brush.

Roast to internal temperature 165°F.

Remove the turkey and rest for a bit.
