Blended Burger Recipes

A creation of the James Beard Foundation, Blended Burgers are burgers that are made with 25% plant material like mushrooms. In addition to adding a unique flavor and texture to the burger, blended burgers have less of an environmental impact.

We asked our Char-Griller Ambassadors to come up with their own blended burger recipes and they delivered! From twists on classics to completely unique creations, these burger recipes should definitely be added to your recipe line up.

All American Burger Recipe

For his burger, Cookout Coach stuck to the classics. He added ground mushrooms to his beef burger to amp up the meaty and earthy flavor. Topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and condiments, all you'll notice about this burger is how delicious it is.

Mushroom Bacon Swiss Bison Burger Recipe

A mouthful to say and a delicious mouthful to eat, @Keto_Sheena's Mushroom Bacon Swiss Bison Burger hits all the high notes. Caramelized onions, a burger patty packed with bison, bacon and mushrooms and topped with melty swiss cheese, this burger is sure to satisfy the hunger of all your family and friends.

Italian Burger

If you've been looking for the ultimate cheat day meal, ambassador Angel (@bustedcanofbiscuits) has you covered. Her Italian Burger is not only wrapped in bacon and topped with mozzarella cheese, it also has fried cheese on top. Her burger patty is blended with mushrooms and then latticed with bacon and cooked hot and fast on the grill. Fried cheese and marinara finish it off making this burger an epic recipe.

Mediterranean Chicken and Mushroom Burger Bowl

After Angel's recipe, we need something a little lighter and healthier. Ambassador Aubrey Johansen's Mediterranean Chicken & Mushroom Burger Bowls have a light tossed salad with cucumbers, tomatoes and feta, a homemade dressing and a burger packed with flavor. The perfect summertime meal.
