  • Gentle Mixing: Mix the beef and seasonings gently to avoid tough burgers.
  • Proper Stuffing: Create a well in each patty for the cheese and jalapeños, ensuring they are well-sealed.

  • Resting Time: Let the burgers rest for a few minutes before serving to retain their juices.

Instructions

  1. 01

Add all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix together well.

  2.

  3. 02

Form 1/4 lb patties by first rolling each portion into a big "meatball." Then, press the "meatball" flat while rotating it in your hand to create an even patty. You should end up with 8 patties.

  4. 03

Create a divot in the middle of the patty to prevent them from rising on the grill. Place them on a sheet pan and keep them in the fridge until you are ready to grill them.

  5.

  6. 04

Preheat your grill to 375 degrees.

  7. 05

Before grilling your burgers, sprinkle each side with additional salt, pepper, and garlic powder for extra flavor.

  8. 06

Grill your burgers for 8-10 minutes on one side, until they have a nice color. Try not to move them or flip them over until they have created a char.

  9. 07

If you are noticing any hot/cold spots on the grill, make sure to rotate your burgers around so they cook evenly. This is where you earn the term, Grill Master ;)

  10. 08

Flip your burgers, and continue cooking for another 5 minutes, or until the internal temp is to your liking. An instant read thermometer will help perfect your burgers. (A medium well burger will read 140ish, and a well done burger is around 160.)

  11.

  12. 09

Remove them from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.

  13. 10

Make it your own by adding your favorite burger ingredients, and enjoy!
