Herb And Garlic Lamb Rack

    8 Lamb Loin or Rib Chops

    1/4 C. Olive Oil

    1 Tbsp. Chopped Fresh Thyme

    1 Tbsp. Chopped Fresh Basil

    2 Tsp. Chopped Fresh Rosemary

    2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 7
    Zest of 1 Lemon

    1 Tsp. Salt
  • 9
    1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper

One of Char-Griller's newest ambassadors, Mark Ashby, took lamb to the next level with his Herb and Garlic focused recipe. Easy and accessible for everyone, this recipe is perfect if you are new to lamb and looking for a show-stopping Easter dish. 


1. Combine olive oil, thyme, basil, rosemary, garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper in a bowl.

2. Rub lamb chops with the mixture to coat evenly.

3. Cover chops and refrigerate for 4 hours. 

4. Bring your grill up to 500°F over direct heat.

5. Place chops on grill and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes per side or until temperature reaches between 145°-155°F.

6. Once cooked to desired doneness, remove chops from grill. Tent with foil and let meat rest for 10 minutes.
