Cooked hot n’ quick on my Akorn Jr. portable kamado grill over hot lump charcoal. These sausages are a favorite of mine because they are a Chicago staple and a treat at the stadiums across the city. I decided to recreate this but on the grill and glad I did. The char flavor from the charcoal and skillet is amazing. Definitely a must try and easy to make recipe.

Fire up an AKORN Jr. with lump charcoal nice n’ hot: 600°F

Using a cast iron skillet with olive oil, grill onions seasoned with Dad’s Original Seasoning

- 1 White onion, moon sliced
- Dad's Original Seasoning, to taste
- Olive oil

Score some Scott Pete Polish Sausages and grill them over the hot lump charcoal

- 6 Scott Pete Polish Sausages (1 pack)

Place the Scott Pete Polish Sausages into the skillet with the grilled onions and cook for a bit longer

Remove the cast iron skillet with the sausages & grilled onions from the grill

Warm up buns on the grill
