Flat Iron® Cereal French Toast

Ingredients
- 1 2 Cup of Crushed Cereal (Your Favorite Kind)
- 2 12 Slices of Thick Sliced Bread
- 3 4 Eggs
- 4 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 5 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 6 1 Cup Whole Milk
- 7 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
- 8 1 Tbsp Vanilla
- 9 Pinch of Salt
- 10 1/4 Butter
This crazy delicious breakfast is the brainchild of Ambassador Angel of @bustedcanofbiscuits and is perfect for mornings with the family. The kids can get involved, and have so much fun making their favorite cereal into french toast!
Instructions
1. Heat flat iron with one side burner on low and others right between low and medium
2. Toast bread on griddle for a few minutes on each side to dry out slightly and remove promptly
3.Whisk together sugar, cinnamon, and eggs until creamy and mixed thoroughly (this is the secret to not having an eggy ring on your French toast)
4. Add cream, milk, vanilla, and salt to egg mixture and whisk thoroughly
5. Dip a slice of bread into the mixture and flip to coat
6. Dip the slice of bread into the crushed cereal and turn to coat
7. Place butter on griddle and allow to melt, spread evenly across griddle
8. Place each slice of French toast on griddle and allow to toast for 4-5 minutes per side
9.When toasted and cooked through, place slices of bread on the low heat side of the griddle until the remainder is finished
