How To Choose Your New Grill
We don’t know about you, but we’ve been thinking about if we need a new grill for Memorial Day. What with all the smoking and cooking we’re going to be doing this summer, we think it’s time.
Are you looking for a new grill?
If yes, this is the blog for you! If no, are you sure? Maybe it’s time for an upgrade? That’s what we thought.
There are a few things to think about when you are buying a new grill, here’s how you can easily choose what type of grill is best for you.
1. What Type of Fuel Do You Want to Use?
Char-Griller makes charcoal, gas and pellet grills. So we have something for everyone. Our smokers and charcoal grills are what we’re known for, but we have options so you can make the best choice for your backyard.
2. Do You Want to Smoke Food?
If you’re never planning on smoking food (please reconsider because it’s awesome), the Char-Griller Premium Kettle is the best option for you.
If you’re not sure if you want to smoke food, but want the option to just in case, any of our barrel grills are great. They are available in a multitude of sizes and are Side Fire Box compatible so you can add a smoker later on.
3. Yes, I Do Want to Smoke
If you know you want to some food, we have an important question for you: offset smoker or kamado style grill?
Offset smokers give you the ability to create real Texas-style BBQ right in your backyard. The AKORN Kamado grills are the most versatile of all our smokers. You can use it to sear, smoke, grill, bake and more thanks to unique shape and convection style heat distribution throughout the grill.
Both grills will serve you well. Offset smokers are great for cooking for a crowd and the AKORN is great for people who want their grill to be a master of many different cooking methods.
4. What If I Want Both Gas and Charcoal?
If you haven’t heard of this before, we’re about to change your life. You can have the best of both worlds with both gas and charcoal in a single unit. From our DUO 5050 to the Hybrid and all the way to the Texas Trio, Char-Griller is the original inventor of the dual fuel grill and have perfected the design to fit every lifestyle.
Gas for quick meals on the weekdays and charcoal for low and slow on the weekends.
5. What if I Have A Super Small Space?
We have grills for spaces of every size. You don’t need a massive backyard or driveway to own a Char-Griller. From our Patio Pro and Side Fire Box with Tabletop Legs to our Wrangler and AKORN Jr., you can grill out in any sized space.
