Have you ever loved smoked Buffalo wings and thought about adding a fall-inspired twist? With pumpkin spice dominating the flavor scene, the question arose – why not incorporate it into wings? Surprisingly, the outcome resembled a delicious spicy curry, perfectly complementing the smoky essence. And here's the perfect pairing suggestion: these uniquely spiced wings go hand in hand with a hoppy IPA.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 pounds Party wings
  3.

  4. 02

Season both sides generously with lemon pepper, then place them on a cooling rack in a tray. Allow the wings to rest in the fridge, uncovered, for a minimum of four hours.

  5.

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup Lemon pepper

  7. 03

An hour before cooking, bring the wings to room temperature.

  9. 04

Prepare your grill or smoker for indirect cooking at 250°F.

  10.

  11. 05

Smoke the wings for about an hour or until the internal temperature reaches 170°F, utilizing mesquite and/or cherry wood for a delightful flavor.

  12.

  13. 06

Set the wings aside to rest for at least 30 minutes.

  14.

  15. 07

Set up your grill for high heat searing while you make the sauce.

  16.

  17. 08

In a small saucepan, simmer the sauce and butter over low heat until the butter is melted.

  18.

    Ingredients

    • 12 ounces Buffalo sauce
    • 1/4 cup Butter
  19.

  20. 09

Add the pumpkin spice and let simmer another two minutes, stirring occasionally.

  21.

    Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons Pumpkin spice
  22.

  23. 10

Place the wings directly over the flame for 30 seconds per side to crisp the skin.

  24.
