Apple Cider Grilled Pork Chops with Raspberry Chipotle Glaze

Sweet Heat Pork Chops Done Right

These pork chops start with a simple but powerful move: an apple cider marinade. The cider adds natural sweetness and helps lock in moisture, keeping the chops tender once they hit the grill. After soaking, they’re seasoned simply for balance — nothing complicated, just flavor that works.

We grill them hot on the gas side of the Flex Fuel grill to build bold grill marks and caramelization. Then comes the finish: a raspberry chipotle glaze brushed on during the final minutes. The result is smooth sweet heat layered over juicy pork with just the right amount of char.

Why the Apple Cider Marinade Works

Apple cider naturally tenderizes pork while adding subtle sweetness. Combined with high-heat grilling, it promotes beautiful caramelization on the surface without overpowering the meat.

Pairing that with a raspberry chipotle glaze creates a balance of sweet, smoky, and mild heat that works perfectly for backyard dinners or weekend cookouts.

Instructions

  1. 01

Place pork chops in a large bowl or food-safe container. Pour apple cider and olive oil over the chops, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours. For deeper flavor and maximum tenderness, marinate for up to 24 hours.

  2. 02

Remove pork chops from the marinade and lightly pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides evenly with Dads seasoning and Certified Salt n’ Pepper Seasoning.

  3. 03

Preheat the gas side of your Char-Griller Flex Fuel grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

  4. 04

Place pork chops directly on the hot grates. Grill for 4–5 minutes per side, flipping once. Build strong grill marks and allow the natural sugars from the cider marinade to caramelize. During the final few minutes of cooking, brush raspberry chipotle sauce onto both sides of the pork chops. Let the glaze set and slightly caramelize over the heat. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

  5. 05

Remove pork chops from the grill and allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Resting helps retain juices and keeps each bite tender and flavorful. Serve hot and enjoy that sweet-heat finish.
