Instructions

  1. 01

In a bowl, combine shaved beef, sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Let sit while you prep the other ingredients.

  2. 02

In a small bowl, whisk together the Kewpie mayo and gochujang sriracha until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.

  3. 03

Preheat your Char-Griller Flat Iron® Griddle to medium-high. Add a little oil and sauté the onion, bell pepper, jalapeño, and mushrooms until softened and lightly charred. Move to a cooler zone on the griddle.

  4. 04

In a separate section of the griddle, add oil and fry the chopped kimchi until it caramelizes slightly. Move aside.

  5. 05

Turn up the heat and cook the marinated beef, chopping and stirring until fully browned.

  6. 06

Combine beef, veggies, and kimchi into four piles. Top each with 2 slices of cheese. Splash a bit of water on the griddle next to each pile and cover briefly to steam-melt the cheese.

  7. 07

Spread the gochujang mayo on toasted hoagie rolls. Load up each with the cheesy beef and veggie mixture. Serve immediately while hot and melty.
