My grilling journey began with the marketing of my BBQ sauce in 2017. Prior to that time my husband had a smoker and did all the grilling for our family and friends. Marketing my sauce opened a whole new world for me, and then I won my first Char-Griller® on Facebook. I started taking an interest in grilling, and my husband began to teach me the way in which to use the smoker. Direct and indirect heat, monitoring my heat, when to add more smoke, and what to use. I looked at it as a different form of cooking, and I began to explore and experiment when I received my Competition Pro™.
