For me, cooking is about nourishing your family and friends. Since these are the people I care about the most in my life, I want to learn, test, and practice the best methods / techniques possible.
I’ve been cooking since I was 9 yrs old. Quickly, I came to the realization there was more than just my parent’s staple meals; And that even though they were good, they could probably be even better. Diligent research, countless books, and many years in professional kitchens later: I’ve come up with my own set of techniques, methods, and recipes that often stray from tradition thanks to my love of the science behind cooking and food.
Barbecue via Instagram on @wolfgangshmuck was born in the summer of 2019, and it’s here to stay as my favorite method of cooking. My theory and catch phrase: “You can’t cook? Or you won’t try again?” Practice and being your own worst critic goes a long way, but me and my DMs are are also here to help you improve anytime day or night. Ask me anything via Instagram!
