Smoked Chili
Prep Time: 10-15 Min | Cook Time: 2-3 Hrs
Ingredients
- 1 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 30 oz. tomato sauce
- 3 30 oz. kidney beans
- 4 30 oz. pinto beans
- 5 1 C. diced onion
- 6 ¼ C. diced green chilies
- 7 3 medium tomatoes chopped
- 8 1½ Tsp. cumin powder
- 9 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 10 2 Tsp. black pepper
- 11 1 Tsp. salt
- 12 1 Tsp. celery salt
- 13 2-4 cloves garlic, minced
- 14 ½ C. chopped cilantro
- 15 2 C. water
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pre-heat grill to 250°F. Season ground beef with salt and pepper, to taste and brown in a cast iron pan.
2. Mix all ingredients together, add to browned ground beef and stir well to combine.
3. Smoke for 2-3 hours at 250°F, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
