If you haven't tried burnt ends yet or pork belly yet, this Pork Belly Burnt Ends recipe is the perfect place to start. This recipe from Char-Griller Ambassador, Eric Stuart of @beardedbeastbbq, perfectly combines smoky, savory, and sweet flavors for delicious flavor in every bite.

Instructions

  1. Fire up the Char-Griller AKORN and pre heat to 250 degrees. Do this cook over indirect heat.
  2. Start by removing the skin off the pork belly if it hasn't been already removed. Then cut the belly into 1’ strips and then cube those strips. Once cubed, coat generously with your dry rub.
  3. Next place the cubes on to the grill at 250 for about 3 hour. Once internal temp of 180 is reached, I add them to a half pan with some butter, BBQ sauce and honey. Cover the half pan with foil and place back in the grill for another 45 minutes.
  4. Enjoy!
