Recipe:Pastrami Swiss Burger
- - 2 lbs. ground beef
- - ½ lb. Pastrami, sliced
- - 2 eggs, beaten
- - Steak BBQ rub
- - 1 C. beef all-purpose sauce
- - Swiss cheese, sliced
- - Hamburger buns
- - Condiments of choice
2. Form 1” thick patties and place on a wax paper lined tray. Place tray with patties in refrigerator and allow to chill for 10-15 minutes.
3. Place chilled patties on the grill at 350°F for 5 minutes per side, with a quarter turn halfway through for good sear marks.
4. Bush burgers with more sauce, if desired and top with sliced pastrami and cheese. Allow cheese to melt, about 1-2 minutes. Burgers are done when internal temperature reaches 165°F for medium-rare.
