Herb Crusted Citrus Pepper Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 Chicken Breasts (Skinless and Boneless)
- 2 Citrus Pepper To Taste
- 3 Smoked Cherrywood Sea Salt To Taste
- 4 Lemon (Cut Into Wedges)
- 5 1/4 Stick Of Butter or EVOO
These succulent chicken breasts are coated in Citrus Pepper rub and seared to a golden crust in cast iron with butter and lemon wedges. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and packed full of flavor all around, these are some of the best chicken breasts you can grill!
Instructions
- Remove chicken from package and pat dry
- Tenderize with a fork, working your way through the entire chicken breast
- Season with salt and let the chicken sweat for a few minutes
- Season chicken with Citrus Pepper (Remember to layer the seasonings so that the Citrus Pepper gets into the meat and creates a nice coat)
- Add ¼ cup EVOO (or butter) to a cast iron skillet
- Heat your grill up to about 500*; Add skillet to the grill, add a chunk of Maple wood
- Add your chicken to the skillet and allow to brown on one side (add the lemon wedges for an extra bit of moisture and flavor)
- Flip chicken and brown on the other side (pull when IT is 165*)
