- 1 1 ½ lb. salmon fillets
- 2 1/3 C. soy sauce
- 3 1/3 C. brown sugar
- 4 1/3 C. water
- 5 ¼ C. vegetable oil
- 6 lemon pepper, to taste
- 7 garlic powder, to taste
- 8 salt, to taste
1. Rinse salmon fillets and pat dry with paper towel. Season salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
2. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a large resealable plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture and gently shake to evenly coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
3. Pre-heat grill to 400°F. Grill salmon for 4 to 5 minutes per side. Salmon is done when internal temperature reaches 135°F or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
