Fish and Chips

    4 cod filets

    3-4 Idaho potatoes

    1 C. flour
  • 4
    1 C. milk
  • 5
    1 egg
  • 6
    1 Tsp. Old Bay seasoning


1. Heat grill to 350-400˚F.

2. Let oil heat up in skillet until it sizzles when splashed with a few drops of water.

3.  3-4 Idaho potatoes with skin on, cut into french fries.

4. Let them soak in water for 20-30 minutes to remove excess starch.

5.  Pat dry on paper towels before frying.

6. Fries are done when they begin to turn golden (cook longer for browned fries, yum!) 

7. Mix batter until only a few clumps of flour remain. Don't over mix.

8. Dredge fish in flour seasoned in Old Bay, if you prefer, before dipping in batter

9. Let fish filets fry on each side for 2-3 minutes, until golden crispy brown.

Serve with coleslaw and tartar sauce. Delicious!
