Asian Pork Belly Skewers

Ingredients

    Pork Belly Cut into 1 1/2" Cubes - 2 Pounds

    Pineapple Cut into 1 1/2" Cubes - 1

    Char-Griller Rib Rub
  • 4
    Skewers Soaked in Water
  • 5
    Chopped Green Onions and Sesame Seeds - For Garnish
  • 6
    Chili Garlic Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • 7
    Rice Wine Vinegar - 1 Teaspoon
  • 8
    Chopped Garlic - 1 Teaspoon
  • 9
    Orange Zest - 1 Teaspoon
  • 10
    Soy Sauce - 2 Teaspoons

Skewers are a fun and family friendly way to enjoy your favorite meats and veggies. These Asian pork belly skewers pack a whole lot of flavor that will leave everyone licking their fingers! We know you will love them as much as we do!

Instructions:

1. Light grill for indirect heat

2. In a large bowl, toss pork belly with rub until generously coated

3. Skewer pineapple and pork belly, alternating between the two

4. Please skewers on the grill

5. Rotate skewers after an hour

6. Meanwhile, place all sauce ingredients in a small sauce pan

  • Chili Garlic Sauce
  • Rice Wine Vinegar
  • Chopped Garlic
  • Range Zest
  • Soy Sauce
  • Honey
  • Ground Ginger

7. Bring the sauce to a simmer and allow to cook until thickened. Approximately 15 minutes

8. Allow to cool

9. After two hours, brush the skewers with sauce. Allow the sauce to set for approximately 30 minutes

10. When ready to serve, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions
